Pelvic Floor Fitness The majority of people do not know WHAT, WHERE and WHY we have a pelvic floor. This 6 week course offers women AND men, the opportunity to learn more about the pelvic floor muscles and their importance in ever day tasks such as lifting and carrying, picking up children or heavy boxes.
Issues explored on this course are ; Locating and isolating the pelvic floor, high tone versus low tone, Incontinence, prolapses (Grades 1/2), pregnancy, post-natal and menopause.
We will also explore the myofascial connections within the body, thus incorporating the kinetic chain and how referred pain in the pelvis may possibly coming from another area of the body such as the lower back, knees or even feet! Exercises will be given at the end of the 6 week course, to practice in the comfort of your own home.
